Airbnb Reveals Top Pet-Friendly Stays Around The World

Real Estate

From an elegantly restored riad in Marrakesh to a treehouse in Tuscany, your next pet-friendly getaway has never looked better.

We now find ourselves in the midst of a major pet-adoption boom here in the U.S, and as travelers continue to bookmark and plan for their post-pandemic getaway, ‘pet-friendly’ accommodations have become more of a priority than ever.

According to recently released data by the home-sharing site AirBnb, searches utilizing the ‘allows pets’ filter has increased 65% since January 2021 compared to the same time period last year. To help inspire future travel plans, Airbnb has since teamed up with Dr. Kate Bruce, a Brisbane, Australia-based veterinarian to share some helpful tips for travelers and their pets based on the most wish-listed, pet-friendly stays available on Airbnb.

For travelers eager to plan your next pet-friendly getaway, from an 18th century farmhouse in Puglia, Italy to a Cycladic-style cave home in Oia, Greece and a cozy palace in Marrakech, Morocco, here’s a look at Airbnb’s top wish-listed homes along with vet-approved tips to help get you started.

The Cozy Palace – Marrakesh, Morocco

Marrakesh, Morocco is a destination that’s high on the list for many travelers, and now it’s more accessible than ever for those traveling with pets thanks to this Cozy Pet-Friendly Palace tucked away in the heart of the Medina .
